Course Purpose

This Critical Tasks & Observation course provides a clear understanding of critical task observations and offers a step-by-step approach to conducting them effectively. Learners will gain the skills needed to gather relevant information during task observations, analyse trends, and use this data to develop and improve Safe Work Procedures.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

Prepare effectively for a critical task observation.
Follow the correct procedure for conducting a task observation.
Identify and describe hazards associated with each step of a task.
Develop preventative measures to mitigate identified risks.
Create and implement Safe Work Procedures based on observation data.
